Script execution via unneutralized name parameter
Published Aug 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in myform.php in SourceCodester Guest Management System allows attackers to inject script through the name parameter. The handler places attacker-controlled name input into a generated page without the neutralization needed to prevent browser interpretation. Execution requires a victim to load the affected response; the CNA scores the path as requiring low privileges, limiting impact to script execution in that user's browser context.
