Script execution via unescaped act parameter
Published Apr 28, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cross-site scripting in PHP MySQL Admin Panel Generator 1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through edit-db.php. The generated edit-db.php page reflects the act query parameter into HTML without filtering or escaping special characters, so crafted markup is interpreted by a visiting browser. An attacker must log in and persuade another user to view the crafted page; script execution occurs in that user's web session.
