Authenticated code execution via generated PHP plugin
Published May 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Code injection in Skycaiji 2.4 allows remote authenticated users with Website Admin permissions to execute arbitrary system commands. Develop.php passes the attacker-controlled name field to createApp(), which writes it into a generated PHP plugin without filtering PHP comment delimiters. An administrator can close the surrounding comment, inject a system() call, then request the generated plugin to run commands with the web application's privileges.
