Unauthenticated database reads and writes via injectable ID
Published Apr 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Atom.CMS 2.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify user data through the admin blur-save endpoint. The endpoint incorporates the id query parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, as demonstrated by a time-delay payload. No authentication or user interaction is required; injected statements can read or modify the users database.
