Unauthenticated database read and modification via list array
Published Apr 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in AtomCMS 2.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data through a crafted list array in list-sort.php. The admin/ajax/list-sort.php endpoint accepts list[1] as a SQL expression, allowing a time-delay function to reach the database instead of treating the value solely as data. No credentials or user interaction are required; the published proof targets the users database, while broader effects depend on the database account's privileges.
