Database reads and modification via id SQL injection
Published Apr 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in AtomCMS 2.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data through the pages.php id parameter. The admin/ajax/pages.php handler evaluates the unvalidated id value within a database query, as demonstrated by a sleep(5) expression. The public HTTP endpoint requires no authentication, and successful injection can expose or alter database records.
