Database query manipulation via unsanitized class_id
Published Aug 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Zoo Management System allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through class_id. The /pages/animals.php handler incorporates the class_id argument into an SQL statement without neutralizing attacker-controlled SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session is sufficient, and successful query manipulation permits direct reading or modification of application database data.
