Database-name disclosure via injectable attendance ID
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Attendance and Payroll System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted attendance request. The attendance_edit.php endpoint places the POST id value into a SQL expression without neutralizing quote and comment syntax. An administrator session is required; the demonstrated error-based updatexml expression discloses the active database name, while broader query effects remain unverified.
