Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped position ID
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Attendance and Payroll System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose the database name through a crafted position ID. The position_delete.php endpoint accepts the POST id value without neutralizing SQL syntax, so an injected updatexml expression is evaluated by MySQL. The published proof requires an authenticated administrator session and demonstrates database-name disclosure rather than operating-system command execution.
