Authenticated SQL injection via attendance deletion ID
Published Apr 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Attendance and Payroll System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id parameter. The admin/attendance_delete.php endpoint interprets the POST id value as SQL syntax, and the published error-based updatexml payload exposes the database name. The demonstrated request requires an administrator session, and the directly verified consequence is disclosure of the database name.
