Database disclosure via unsanitized group parameter
Published Apr 26, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SQL injection in CuppaCMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted params[group] HTTP value. The administrator/alerts/alertLightbox.php endpoint places the params[group] value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; a UNION-based request can return the database name, database user, and other stored data.
