Code execution via unsanitized CSV export
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSV injection in Affiliates Manager before 2.9.14 allows remote authenticated users to embed formulas in administrator CSV exports. Affiliate registration accepts formula-bearing field values without validation or sanitization, and the administrator export writes those values into CSV cells unchanged. An affiliate account and an administrator who exports and opens the file in a vulnerable spreadsheet configuration are required; formula execution can run code on the administrator's system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
