Unauthenticated account takeover via null reset token
Published Apr 26, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Improper input validation in ToolJet before 1.11.0 allows remote attackers to reset arbitrary user passwords through its API. The /api/users/set_password_from_token and /api/reset_password endpoints accept a null token and apply a supplied password to a user account. No authentication is required; the reset enables account compromise when an affected account is reached through brute-force or credential spraying.
