Unauthenticated decoy-user disclosure via missing endpoint access control
Published Sep 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Cynet 360 Web Portal before 4.5 allows remote attackers to list decoy users through a crafted GET request. The unauthenticated /WebApp/DeceptionUser/GetAllDeceptionUsers endpoint returns the network's decoy-user list because it performs no access-control check. Network reachability to the management portal on TCP port 8443 is sufficient, allowing attackers to identify and avoid accounts intended to detect password spraying.
