Binary hijacking in NetSarang Xlpd 7.0.0094 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted executable. Xlpd passes an executable path containing an unquoted search-path element to CreateProcessW, allowing Windows to resolve an attacker-controlled executable. Exploitation requires high local privileges and user interaction; launched code runs with the affected process’s authority.
