Charge-port opening via unauthenticated RF replay

Missing authorization in Tesla Model 3 Firmware 2022-03-26 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to open the charge port. The charge-port receiver treats a fixed sequence of about 100 symbols transmitted at 315 MHz as a charger-handle command without authorizing the transmitter. A nearby software-defined radio can replay the sequence and open the door, but the record reports no ability to unlock the vehicle or begin charging, and Tesla considers the behavior intentional.
