Unauthenticated software abort via unvalidated HTTP input
Published Jul 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Insufficient input validation in Pexip Infinity 27.0 through 27.2 allows remote attackers to abort the service through HTTP requests. The HTTP implementation processes untrusted request data without sufficient validation and reaches a software-abort path; Pexip has not disclosed the responsible request field or parsing operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation interrupts service without a reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
