CVE-2022-27892Network attack vector

Service interruption via unbounded payload logging

Published Feb 16, 2023 · Updated Mar 18, 2025

Denial of service in Palantir Gotham before 3.22.11.2 allows remote attackers to exhaust Dispatch memory through an unauthenticated endpoint. The endpoint logs arbitrarily large JSON objects without enforcing a payload-size limit, so repeated requests consume the Dispatch server's available memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; exhaustion can interrupt the core service that enforces access control, records logs, and coordinates database requests.
