Improper TLS hostname validation in Palantir AtlasDB before 0.730.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or modify traffic. Affected TLS client code misuses javax.net.ssl.SSLSocketFactory and fails to confirm that certificate hostnames match the intended peer. Exploitation requires a privileged network position; two-way TLS in Palantir platform deployments mitigates the exposed path.
