Out-of-bounds memory read via TIFF parsing
Published Jul 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk Design Review 2018, 2017, 2013, 2012, and 2011 allows attackers to read past a buffer via a TIFF file. The TIFF parser in DesignReview.exe reads beyond allocated boundaries when it processes malformed image data. A user must cause the application to consume the file; resulting code execution requires chaining this flaw with another vulnerability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
