Code execution via unneutralized CSV formulas
Published Nov 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSV injection in Elementor Activity Log 2.8.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to embed formulas in exported activity-log files. The CSV exporter writes untrusted activity-log fields as spreadsheet cells without neutralizing formula-leading characters. Code runs only when an administrator downloads the export and opens it in a spreadsheet configured to evaluate formulas.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
