Improper access control in Samsung Recovery before 8.1.43.0 allows local users to delete arbitrary files with the application's permissions. Samsung has not disclosed the affected interface or the missing authorization check that permits privileged deletion of attacker-selected files. Exploitation requires local access and user interaction, and the consequence is limited to the integrity and availability of files accessible to Samsung Recovery.
