Code execution via uninitialized embedded-font pointer
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2026
Uninitialized pointer access in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 22.001.20085 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via crafted PDFs. The embedded-font parser accesses an uninitialized pointer while processing font data supplied by the document. A victim must open the document; successful exploitation runs code with the current user's privileges on the affected endpoint.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
