CVE-2022-2779Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file upload via unchecked shell parameter

Published Aug 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in SourceCodester Gas Agency Management System allows remote authenticated users to upload files via shell. The /gasmark/assets/myimages/oneWord.php handler processes attacker-controlled shell input as an unrestricted upload rather than limiting dangerous file types. Low-privileged network access is sufficient to place attacker-controlled files on the application server, and the public record does not establish automatic code execution.
