Code execution via font-processing use-after-free
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Use-after-free in font processing in affected Adobe Acrobat Reader releases allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. The font-processing path accesses an object after its memory has been released while parsing font data from the file. Exploitation requires a local user to open the file, and attacker-supplied code runs with that user's privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
