Script execution via unsanitized contact phone input
Published Aug 11, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Company Website CMS allows remote authenticated users to run script through the contact phone field. The /dashboard/contact handler fails to neutralize the phone parameter before placing it in page output, so attacker-supplied markup executes in a viewer's browser. Authenticated access is required to submit the payload, and another user must view the affected page; execution remains within that viewer's browser context.
