Denial of service in Siemens SIMATIC CP 442-1 RNA and CP 443-1 RNA before 1.5.18 allows attackers to reboot the device via ARP broadcasts. The communications processor mishandles excessive ARP broadcast requests, allowing an ARP storm to exhaust resources until the module restarts. Exploitation requires access to the same adjacent network and affects availability by forcing a reboot rather than altering or exposing data.
