Administrator device control via forged web requests
Published May 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSRF in Meikyo Rebooter, PoE Rebooter, Scheduler, and Contact Converter firmware allows remote attackers to perform unintended operations. Their web GUIs accept state-changing requests carried by an administrator's authenticated browser without verifying that the administrator intended them. An administrator must remain logged in and open a crafted page in another browser tab; matching requests can reset or control the device.
