Buffer-bounds flaw in Synology DiskStation Manager before 7.1.1-42962-2 allows remote attackers to execute commands via OOB messages. The OOB management message processor performs operations outside a memory buffer's bounds, but Synology has not disclosed the affected routine or malformed field. Exploitation requires network access to the separate OOB interface on DS3622xs+, FS3410, or HD6500 hardware and requires no authentication.
