Authenticated SQL execution via undisclosed webapi input
Published Jul 28, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
SQL injection in Synology CardDAV Server before 6.0.10-0153 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The webapi component fails to neutralize SQL syntax in an undisclosed input, but Synology has not identified the endpoint, parameter, or query-building locus. A valid account and network access to the CardDAV service are required; successful exploitation can read or alter stored data and interrupt the service.
