CVE-2022-2759

File disclosure via Point Table XML entities

Published Aug 31, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

XXE in Delta Electronics Delta Robot Automation Studio before 1.13.20 allows attackers to read host files through a crafted Point Table XML file. Point Table processing permits external entity URIs, causing the XML parser to retrieve URI content and embed it into the document being processed. Exploitation requires a user to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the DRAS process.
