Script execution via reflected web admin input
Published Sep 15, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in HCL Traveler 12.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through LotusTraveler.nsf. HCL identifies the affected web-admin database but has not published the input parameter or the missing output-encoding operation that causes reflection. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content, after which script runs in the web admin's browser context.
