Unauthenticated code execution
Published Apr 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Code execution in Kaspersky home antivirus products and Endpoint Security with databases before 12 March 2022 allows remote attackers to run code. Kaspersky identifies the locus only as a data parsing module and has not published the malformed input, parser operation, or memory-safety defect that enables execution. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code in the security product's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
