CVE-2022-2752

User impersonation after failed login attempts

Published Dec 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

Improper authentication in Secomea GateManager 9.4 through 9.7 allows local users to impersonate a prior user after failed logins. Secomea identifies the locus only as the GateManager web server and has not published the incorrect session or credential-handling operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and user interaction; successful impersonation exposes the prior user's data and authority and can interrupt the service.
