Unauthenticated capability access via alternate authentication path
Published Nov 8, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Authentication bypass in Citrix ADC/Gateway allows remote attackers to access Gateway user capabilities through an alternate path. Citrix identifies an alternate authentication path or channel but has not published the affected request handler, credential check, or crafted input that reaches it. Only customer-managed appliances configured as an SSL VPN, ICA Proxy, CVPN, or RDP Proxy Gateway are exposed; exploitation bypasses authentication rather than merely weakening login throttling.
