CVE-2022-27506Network attack vector

Administrator shell access via hard-coded credentials

Published Apr 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in Citrix SD-WAN allow remote authenticated users with SD-WAN CLI administrator access to enter the shell. The CLI embeds credentials that cross the intended management boundary by authenticating an administrator to the underlying appliance shell. Access requires an existing administrator account and reachable SD-WAN CLI; the documented consequence is shell access, with no broader impact published.
