Arbitrary file read via unsanitized attachment path
Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Path traversal in Lansweeper 10.1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through a crafted HTTP request. The GetTemplateAttachment handler accepts fileuid without sanitization, joins it to the helpdesk template directory, and passes the resulting path to TransmitFile. Access requires configuration-edit permission or helpdesk-agent status; exposure is limited to files readable by the web-server process.
