CLI command execution via administrator-targeted CSRF
Published Dec 13, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSRF in affected FortiSwitch, FortiNDR, FortiVoice, FortiRecorder, and FortiMail releases allows remote attackers to execute CLI commands. The affected administrative interface processes attacker-crafted GET requests from an authenticated administrator's browser as CLI actions. Exploitation requires convincing a logged-in administrator to issue the request; command execution can disclose data, alter settings, or interrupt the appliance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.0.0 <=6.0.7
- Affected versionversion=6.2.0 <=6.2.8
- Affected versionversion=6.4.0 <=6.4.10
