SQL injection via chart data requests
Published Apr 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Apache Superset before 1.4.2 allows remote attackers to execute SQL through crafted chart data requests. Apache's advisory and public reference set identify the chart data API but do not disclose the vulnerable field or query-construction operation that fails to neutralize input. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful injection can read or modify connected database data and interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
