Administrator-browser script execution via unescaped goodsName
Published Apr 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Newbee-Mall 1.0.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary script in an administrator's browser via goodsName. The goods-update endpoint stores goodsName without restricting or escaping script-sensitive characters before later page rendering. The published reproduction uses an authenticated administrator session to edit a goods record, and the script runs when that stored record is refreshed.
