Process memory corruption via surface pitch overflow

Out-of-bounds write in SDL_ttf 2.0.18 and earlier allows attackers to corrupt process memory by rendering text from a crafted TTF file. Create_Surface_Solid adds width and alignment as integers before assigning the result to a 64-bit pitch, allowing overflow to create a surface whose pitch is smaller than rendering expects. An application must render attacker-controlled font content; the public demonstration crashes, while the resulting write can target heap or stack memory.
