Arbitrary SQL execution via unsanitized orderBy parameter
Published May 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Mingsoft MCMS 5.2.27 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary database queries through the orderBy parameter. The /ms/mdiy/dict/list.do handler passes orderBy through DictAction to dictBiz.query, where IDictDao.xml incorporates it into a database query without restricting SQL syntax. The published request contains no authentication material and demonstrates error-based extraction of the database user, establishing unauthenticated remote data disclosure and database-command execution.
