Database crash via implicit multi-update grouping

Reachable assertion in MariaDB Server 10.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash the database via a crafted multi-table UPDATE. The multi_update::initialize_tables path accepts implicit grouping from an aggregate in ORDER BY and continues into InnoDB update processing until row0mysql.cc asserts that the persistent cursor is positioned on a record. Reachability requires the ability to submit a crafted SQL statement; exploitation crashes the server without reported data disclosure or modification.
