Stored XSS via unsanitized phone input
Published Apr 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in the Phone field of TPCMS 3.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary scripts in a viewer's browser. TPCMS stores a crafted Phone value and later renders it as active HTML or script content instead of neutralizing it for the page context. Exploitation requires high-privilege access to submit the value and a separate user to view the stored contact, exposing that browser session to script-driven data access or actions.
