Browser script execution via unneutralized Post Title
Published Apr 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Social Codia SMS 1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser via a crafted Post Title. The add_post.php Post Title path stores attacker-controlled HTML or script content without neutralizing it before the title is rendered. Exploitation requires high privileges and a victim to view the stored title, enabling browser-context data access or actions with that victim's authority.
