CVE-2022-2734Network attack vector

Unintended user actions via frameable entry pages

Published Aug 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Clickjacking in OpenEMR before 7.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to induce unintended user actions through framed login and portal pages. The login and patient-portal entry points omit both X-Frame-Options and a CSP frame-ancestors restriction, allowing hostile sites to embed their interfaces. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-controlled page and interact with the disguised frame; effects are limited to actions available in that framed workflow.
