Stored script execution via unescaped product titles
Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in E-Commerce Website 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through a crafted Product Title. The /public/admin/index.php?add_product handler stores attacker-controlled Product Title markup and later renders it as active HTML without neutralization. Access to the administrative product-creation interface and a later page view are required; script execution occurs in the viewing user's browser.
