Unauthenticated router crash via oversized webpage parameter
Published Apr 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack overflow in formAdvanceSetup in D-Link DIR-619 Ax 1.00 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted webpage parameter. The formAdvanceSetup request handler processes an oversized webpage value without enforcing the destination stack buffer's bounds. Network access requires no authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation interrupts router availability.
