Router crash via unbounded curTime parameter
Published Apr 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack overflow in formSetWanPPPoE in D-Link DIR-619 Ax firmware 1.00 allows remote attackers to crash the router via curTime. The WAN PPPoE form handler fails to bound the curTime value before it reaches stack storage, overflowing the handler's stack frame. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted network request interrupts routing service by crashing the device.
