Unauthenticated code execution via crafted packet
Published Apr 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in InHand Networks InRouter 900 firmware before 1.0.0.r11700 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted packet. Published sources identify python-lib as the packet-processing component but do not disclose the packet field, parser routine, or command-construction operation. Successful exploitation requires network access but no authentication or user interaction and grants control of the router through arbitrary code execution.
